U.S. Forest Service Waives Fees in Honor of Back-to-School Season

This upcoming weekend, August 14-15, many National Forests in Florida recreation sites are fee-free in honor of Back-to-School.
Get the family outdoors and have a great time before settling back into the classroom!

Big Gum Swamp Wilderness Wildfire Contained

A 56-acre wildfire caused by a lightning strike in the southwest corner of Big Gum Swamp Wilderness in the Osceola National Forest was 100-percent contained by U.S. Forest Service firefighters at 8 p.m. on May 10.
