Ocala National Forest Trail Update

The Paisley Woods Mountain Bike Trail will be closed until further notice due to a brush reduction project. Heavy machinery is working in this area where the mountain bike trail is located. The machinery can throw debris up to 300 feet away  and a large amount of brush is covering the trail. We anticipate the trail to re-open on or before November 2010. Read More..

The Florida National Scenic Trail is open through Juniper Prairie Wilderness. Currently Forest Road 46 (old FR 10) and the Yearling Trailhead are open. These areas may be closed again as efforts continue to remove hazardous material and rehabilitate the site following a military plane crash. If this does occur, these areas will be posted closed.
