Plant-A-Tree Program: A Living Tribute for Remembrances and Special Occassions

People often wish to leave a living tribute to those they have lost or to commemorate special events for those who have touched their lives in some way. In response to these wishes, the U.S. Forest Service established a program allowing people the opportunity to contribute toward planting trees in the National Forests.
For a minimum donation of $10.00, donors receive acknowledgement of their gift and a certificate, suitable for framing, sent to the person or family specified by the donor. This certificate states the name of the person being honored and by whom the contribution is made.
The minimum donation provides for the purchase and planting of 10 to 15 seedlings suitable for the planting site. The trees will not be individually recognized, but will be part of the forest ecosystem managed to sustain our natural resources.
