National Forests in Florida

The Apalachicola National Forest is conducting a prescribed burn of approximately 1,100 acres in unit #252 near Highway 319 and Springhill Highway.  Please see map to locate approximate vicinity of the prescribed burn in the northeast area of the forest.

…sign up today to volunteer for the Florida Trail Association’s annual Swamp Tromp Work Party hosted by F-Troop at the Big Cypress National Preserve on March 13-19.  The work entails getting to those hard to reach sections of the Florida Trail deep in the heart of the Big Cypress.
